Shipping Policy

Customer Satisfaction is of utmost importance at Kalico Furniture.  We would like to inform all of our customers that our shipping department is closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and holidays.  Any inquiries over the weekend regarding shipping will be answered at the beginning of the week.   

  • All orders placed through this web site must be shipped to the address provided in your invoice
  • Pick up of items for online purchases are available upon request
  • Multiple orders can be combined if you notify us before the item is shipped
  • No sales or shipping to Countries, States, Provinces, Counties or Cities outside of our service area 

We strive to offer all of our customers the most convenient options for shipping.  Some shipping options have limitations which are described below.

Time Frame 

All items will be packaged within 1 to 2 business days from the date you place your order and will be picked up by USPS or FedEx the following business day, regardless of the shipping option you choose.  Shipping days/times are only estimated dates by the courier and are not guaranteed by us or them. (Ex. If you place an order Friday and choose FedEx Priority Overnight, your order will not be processed or picked up by FedEx till the following Monday and be delivered to you the business day after.)  This time frame is still not guaranteed in which your order could take longer to process if we are backed up with orders.  Invoices are processed in the order they are received.   If there were many orders placed over the weekend, then there could be a possible delay in getting your order out. FedEx does not deliver on weekends or holidays. USPS does not deliver on Sundays or holidays as well. 

Domestic orders can take 1 to 15 business days to reach their intended destination and is dependent on which shipping option you choose.   All time frames specified are only estimates from the carriers and are not guaranteed by them or us, Kalico Furniture.  Please do not contact us regarding tracking unless you have not received your package within the specified time frames.  We are working diligently to answer all emails for those who need our assistance while trying to get your orders out as soon as possible.

Tracking 

Tracking information is offered by the carrier via their website whether you choose to use USPS or FedEx and is limited by them.  We highly suggest using FedEx for all domestic customers as their tracking system is continually updated.  

 

Shipping Options 

We currently only use local delivery service, USPS postal service and FedEx. 

USPS options allowed for domestic orders:

first class (up to 13 ounces total package)

first class large envelope (up to 13 ounces total package)

first class package (up to 13 ounces total package)

priority mail

 

FedEx options allowed for domestic orders:

express saver

ground (only applies to lower 48 states)

  

Signature Confirmation Policy 

All domestic orders shipped from our facility now require "SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION" upon delivery.  If you wish to waive signature confirmation due to the inconvenience this may cause you, we can waive it for you when processing your order.  However, you will need to email us your order number immediately at tony@kalicofurniture.com stating that you wish to waive signature confirmation for that order BEFORE we have processed it.  

By denying signature confirmation, you, the customer, understand that you have waived your right to a security measure that we, Kalico Furniture, have tried to provide you for the safety of your order.  By denying signature confirmation, you agree that if your package is lost or stolen but shows delivered by USPS or FedEx to the shipping address you provided, we, Kalico Furniture, will not be held liable or responsible for your lost or stolen item(s).  Should you have any questions regarding the recent update to our Shipping Policy, please feel free to email us at tony@kalicofurniture.com
